Inno-Tec Innovative Technology GmbH attaches great importance to the confidentiality, availability and integrity of information. We have taken extensive measures to protect sensitive and confidential information. In doing so, we are guided by the catalogue of questions on information security issued by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA ISA). The TISAX® assessment was therefore recently carried out at Inno-Tec.

TISAX® (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) is a registered trademark and is administered by the ENX Association. On behalf of the VDA (German Association of the Automotive Industry), it supports the common acceptance of information security assessments in the automotive industry.
The TISAX® assessments are carried out by accredited audit providers who provide evidence of their qualifications at regular intervals.
What is TISAX® and why is it relevant?
TISAX® (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) is a standard for information security that was developed specifically for the automotive industry. As a registered trademark of the ENX Association, TISAX® is managed on behalf of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA). The aim is to promote the common acceptance of information security assessments within the industry.
The TISAX® assessments are carried out by accredited assessors who must regularly prove their qualifications. The assessment confirms that companies such as Inno-Tec fulfil the high requirements for information security – a decisive advantage in an industry that relies heavily on the protection of sensitive data.
Where does TISAX® come from?
The introduction of TISAX® can be traced back to the increasing requirements for information security in the automotive industry. With increasing digitalisation and the exchange of sensitive data between manufacturers, suppliers and service providers, a uniform standard for the assessment of information security became necessary.
The German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) therefore developed the VDA ISA question catalogue, which forms the basis for TISAX®.
The administration and coordination of TISAX® was transferred to the ENX Association, which, as a neutral body, ensures the secure exchange of assessment results between companies. Today, TISAX® is an integral part of the automotive industry and is used by numerous companies to create transparency and trust in safety issues.
